Is it safe to feed a 3 month old cat indoor cat food? It is a long haried kitten with brown spots and a white body what is that called?

Is it indoor adult food? (I don't know if they make indoor kitten
)
At 3 months a kitten should be eating food formulated for kittens. Adult food won't have adequate nutrients.

Kittens should eat kitten food. In a pinch for a very short period adult food is ok but kitten food is the best.

We found some packets so we will get a big bag tommorow. And is there like a specific name for her color?

If the brown spots have stripes, its a brown tabby and white. If the color is more/less restricted to the head, tail and a few body spots (less the better) the pattern would be called a "van" - so it could be a brown tabby van
