Ok, I`m kind of confused about this

Kitty is my indoor-outdoor cat and Maisie is indoor only, still residing in my old bedroom because they don`t like each other and Kitty moved out before when I tried doing intro`s.

So I`ve noticd the past week or so a skinny grey cat is hanging around and a few times I`ve caught it inside ( always in the evening which is when Kitty likes to go in and out ) It has a collar etc so I`m pretty sure it`s not 'homeless' but it`s very skittish and I can`t get near it anyway.

The thing I`m confused about is a couple of times now it has sneaked in with Kitty indoors and Kitty just sits there and does nothing. One time he was laying in the hall and he didn`t even get up! He does watch it but shows no aggression.

The thing is he moved out over Maisies arrival and he left his last home to become a stray because he didn`t like the guys other cat. He has made baby steps to get to know Maisie but she is the one not interested and always hisses at him
The other morning I found him up the road having a squabble with a different cat and I always assumed he just didn`t like other cats, so how come he`s not doing anything about the cat burgalar?

( Now I need to investigate magnatic cat-flaps to keep this cat OUT! )

Maybe the new kitty just suits him and his pal now. That would freak me out another cat just having the access to come into my home like that. Does any other type of animals ever come in? That would so scare me!

I did ask him if it was his girlfriend

I`ve been down in this flat about 3 years now and that is the first cat thats come in. The entrance is quite secluded and the only other animals roaming around here are cats and a fox. Apart from this grey cat, the only other visitors have been the tiny squeeky variety that Kitty has brought in

W/ the best cats
The cat "burgalar" is probably Kitty's friend outside and now she sneaks inside at the invitation of Kitty. She's skittish because she is in a new place.
The electromagnetic cat flap is a good idea. Let Kitty and his new friend have their meetings outside.

Hopefully though this cat has a home nearby and is not a lost soul.
One of my cats, QT, was basically the reason why I adopted Ashley. She took an instant liking to him and protected him from being chased away by the others. Ashley's life as a stray ended mostly due to QT.

Its good to know Kitty has a friend. I would be crawling through the kitty flap to hang out with him, if I lived close.

My niece left a cereal bowl outside the other night. About 2 AM, my cats ran to the window and in the scurry of running across my face to get to the window, they woke me up.
I went to look and there were 2 racoons eating the cereal. Thats what I would be afraid of coming through my door.

QT is an
! What a sweet story!

I saw they do infra-red cat-flaps but what if the battery dies and Kitty can`t get in?! Don`t wnt that to happen. Also there is one thats activated by the cats ID microchip so your cat and your cat only can get in. I`m not sure how that would work as they put the scanner right on their back when checking the chip and I bet it`s really expensive

Well, if your ever passing, be sure to drop in!
If you`re lucky I`ll let you in the door

Racoons?! How cool!
I wanna come to your house now! I also have a great image of your cats doing that cartoon 'running on the spot' with the skidaddle sound effect across your face now
Hope it didn`t hurt.

Just Kitty's friend checking out Kitty's digs. They were having a play date.

There was a cat burglar in my old neighborhood. He was going in and out of other people's houses eating their cat's food. Using their cat's liter boxes and stealing items from each house. People finally caught on and found his bounty in the backyard of his house. He had people's socks, shoes all sorts of things. But only one of a pair of things. So people would wake up and find a shoe missing.

Really?! Some cats are just crazy! Can you imagine seeing a cat sneaking along with a shoe in it`s mouth?!
I can imagine Kitty doing that. He was found recently in a ladies room up stairs

When she came in the other day she sneaked into the kitchen and I`d put chicken down for Kittys bedtime snack while he was out or he just gets all screachy and tries to stand in the fridge and she didn`t touch it at all.
