threat to kill my cats

My nasty neigbour stood in her garden and shouted she was going to kill my cats if they go in her garden then she was going to come round and 'do me one' i presume she wants to kill me too , she said its not a threat she means it , my cats walk along MY fence and stay in my garden , luckily my son in law is a pc and we now have a log number about the threat , im going to see the RSPCA to let them know i know them well and i have rescue cats from them and the council as she is a council tenant and has threatend me luckily my daughter works for the council in the right department as well , the stupid woman

If I were you I would start keeping the cats inside and only take them out on a leash daily.

Continuing to let them out knowing she will harm them is only asking for trouble. Cats don't know boundaries and will certainly trapse on her property.

She sounds unstable. Contact the police and report her threat, and then start keeping your cats inside.

dont worry ive reported it to the police and my cats have a massive kennel and run so they staying in there until i get her evected as im sure as hell gonna get her out and she can threaten to do whatever she wants to me ( but if she touches my cats i hate to think what i will do ) i hope she does do something to me as she will be in prison and her kids will be in care i know it sounds bad saying that about her kids but my cats are my kids and i will protect them

Just popped on to let you know the police have just been to see me and i can press charges if i want to im going to have a chat with my son in law policeman to see what is best to do .

my kitties are all safe in there run i bought them some cooked chickens so they are happy stripping away at them

CC12 i agree with you after she threatened me they kicked a ball over into my garden and made her poor young son come and knock on my door to ask for it back just after he had witnessed his mother screaming she was going to kill , the poor lad must have been so scared to knock on my door , i then heard his dad ask him what we had said when he knocked , how could anyone do that to a child

She is certifiably crazy. I would not be surprised if abuse was an issue in that home.
I kind of hope you press charges but I don't want you to suffer any revenge by them.

If she spouts off again let her know that the threats have been logged with the police etc...

At least you were sympathetic to the child - Lord knows what they put up with, if their mother will treat another adult, a neighbor, no less, that way

I know! poor child needs to get outta there fast before momma has a psycho fit and goes crazy on the poor kid

In the US they are making a link between pet abuse, child abuse and spousal abuse and in my state of Wisconsin making a law to link these crimes. As someone whose neighbor did carry out the threat to kill my cats I know the feeling all to well.

I hope that counseling is recommended for that lady.
