How is your grandpa doing? I am keeping him in my prayers. I miss seeing you around more, I hope you get a chance to stop in more often, but I know you are busy. I miss you!! I am sure others here are wondering how your grandpa is, so I posted this here instead of in a PM.

I really appreciate the prayers. He is going through ups and downs right now. Mood swings. and.....I am once again, not allowed to see him as I have caught another nasty cold. *sigh*

I am keeping you all close in my thoughts. I have some sorting out to do and may eventually make it back!

Just bumping this to give an update for those that have asked about grandpa.

Unfortunately, he is not well at all right now. They have confirmed he will not be leaving the hospital. He is on morphine and apparently his lungs are shutting down.

It's been a rough couple of weeks for all of us. Needless to say, my time online is not as frequent and even if I am here, I am not really 'here'.

I guess we are just waiting now. I can only hope he goes quietly and peacefully in his sleep.

Visiting him is becoming more and more painful as he is grasping for every breath. Although I can't bare the thought of letting go, I'm beginning to wonder what is more painful....

If you can spare a prayer for him to ease his pain a little, it would be greatly appreciated.
