Hello,
Last night we managed to trap a stray pregnant cat and bring her indoors. We set her up in a medium sized dog kennel with a cardboard box turned over inside with blankets to make her fell more secure. Inside the cage we also put a litter box and some food.
But I am starting to worry... this is the first time I've ever taken in a pregnant stray. We have tried different foods, yet she hasn't eaten in 24 hours. I understand that she must be incredibly anxious in this new environment, but is there anything else I can do to make her feel safe and comfortable?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Catherine
