Just wanted to say hello to everyone!
I am crazy about animals, and they seem to find me everywhere I go. I've befriended so many stray/feral cats over the years, all had been kept outside, and found that these cats can truly be the most loyal companions and have done the most amazing things. They would get so attached, and would follow me around from the moment I stepped out the door. I'd even take them out for "walks", and had to "escape" from the house unseen if I didn't want a cat trailing behind. I could talk about them all day! Unfortunately, we had to move a few years ago and I had to leave my last furry behind.
Anyway, I had been desperately wanting a kitty lately, I've discovered that life can be so empty without them, and a few weeks back my prayers were answered when this itty bitty black kitty crossed my path as I was coming out of a store. She was so skinny and there were no signs of her mother or siblings anywhere, so I took her home with me.
She must've been only 3 weeks old, and struggled for the first week with me, the most excruciatingly intense time I've had in so long. She is now 6 weeks old, and her personality has really come out! She is the most adorable thing and has those mesmerizing eyes! Just yesterday I finally named her Kriva (Kri). And yeah.. she's the reason I joined this forum!
She's fine but her stomach seems bigger than it should be, and I've posted a thread on that in the pregnant cat and kitten's section, for anyone who might know why.
I'll try to post some of her pictures in the next few days.
Everyone in here seems so friendly, so I'm glad I joined this forum. Thanks for reading!!
