My mom needs vibes...

I know I haven't been on TCS much lately due to work and the kids but I know this is the place to go when I need some support and vibes.

My mom is currently in the hospital with fluid around the heart and in her lungs.
She went to the Dr yesterday because she was having shortness of breath and chest pain. When the Dr seen her he did an in office EKG and called an ambulance.
They rushed her to the hosptial that specializes in heart conditions.
The Dr won't tell us exactly what caused the fluid but have made mention of congestive heart failure.
The cardiologist is coming to see her sometime this morning and will let us know what's going on.

My mom is only 58 years old and I can't stand to see her the way she is.
She is hooked up to every wire and tube known to mankind!
They are pumping all sorts of meds and fluids in her and she's really swollen.
She doesn't look like my mom at all!

My thoughts are with your mom, hon. Try not to panic... there are lots of things that can be done to control congestive heart failure, and probably to fix what's causing it in the first place, too. There's every reason in the world to trust that she'll be okay!
