Hi! We're New!

Hi! We're new on the Cat Site. My name is Andi, and my kittens names are Hali (pronounced Haleigh) and Hayden. Hali and Hayden are 10 weeks old today. Hali is a beautiful calico who definitely has more than three colors. Hayden is a silky black cat with a few with a few white patches that usually go unseen. These two girls are sisters and they love each other very much. They're growing quickly and they are very playful and curious. They only problem we're facing is the claws - they're sharper than I thought they'd be! Hopefully we'll figure something out. I'm leaning towards using Soft Paws. Can anyone tell me if they have a kitten and used those?

We have kittens that are about five weeks old, and we just got them a scratching post and another thing they can use their claws on, and they love them! I used Soft Paws on my kitty Clover when she was still a kitten (though she was older than ten weeks) and they worked well.

Hello & welcome to tcs. When Blossom was a baby she would attack our ankles when we were walking through the house. I found lots of useful info on the net about what to do. One way is to distract them with a soft toy. When they latch on try not to react. They will eventually outgrow it. Ask questions in the behaviour forum. Also check out the sticky - aggression towards people.
I've never used soft paws, I've never seen thim in Australia.

Hello and welcome! just keep trimming your kittens claws and buy a good scratching post and theyll most likely grow out of it : )
