Aw, what a shame. I've done Universal LA four times, and Orlando once... it's a terrific place, a total hoot. Thank goodness they have duplicates of those films!

Even though I live in California, I have never been there. I don't like driving in LA. I always wanted to go though.

While we're on the subject, let me mention that while Universal is really a theme park, Paramount and Warner are real studio tours, and they're terrific! (I hope Warner is still doing it -- I heard they were thinking of discontinuing the tours.) I believe both of them require reservations, but they're well worth the trouble.

I know it's all over the news! I've only been to the one in Orlando so thank God it isn't that one because we're planning on going back sometime! It really is a shame that all of those things got destroyed, but on the news the spokesman said they had copies of nearly everything exept for a few props.
