Kim,

I hope that whatever is going on is soon resolved, and that you find yourself in a better place.

Kim, we'll miss you. I hope things turn around for you soon, and that you won't forget there are many broad shoulders around here to help bear the burden -- whatever it is.
See you soon, I hope.

We'll all miss seeing you around. I've taken a few breaks from here myself. Not really any reason, it just kind of happens. Hope everything works out. We'll be here when you decide to come back.

See you whenever you're back on the forums.

Oh no! Kim, my friend, you were right there with me when I first joined over 3 years ago, and you were one of the first to welcome me back this year. I hope whatever is drawing you away is resolved soon enough and look forward to welcoming you back when your time comes.

Marian

OK, I'm back - that wasn't very long was it?
I just had a few things happen with my 16 year old son (which my husband is inclined to think are fairly normal, and I was inclined to think the sky was falling), and I blamed myself and thought I was a horrible person and stopped taking my meds, and, well you see where this is headed.

I had a little R&R on Saturday and Sunday and took it easy the rest of the week. Plus my son is actually a pretty good person, just a 16 year old and testing his boundaries, I think. Ugh. Sorry I over-reacted.

Yeah, my husband was like, "come on, you didn't do that when you were in high school?" I was like, "uh...NO!!! Of course not."

So apparently I had a very different experience than some people did in high school. (read: very sheltered, and goody-goody, I guess!)

I saw this and thought Oh no! I love reading about your beautiful cat in the siggy.
I have a 20 year old Stepson whose mother had many meltdowns during his teen years. I am closer in age to him so I could talk to him. But I think a few times she was at a loss.
I am glad you didn't go away.
I am newish and have enjoyed your posts.
I hope things get better for you.

Kim, all I can say is "phew"! I was worried that something terrible had happened. We would certainly miss you at the Cafe as well as everywhere else here on the board. Hugs. Glad to see you back.
