I have a female siamese named Lilly and she has been in labor for over 24 hours. She has given birth to 3 kittens so far, 2 were still born and the other one is fine. She still has more kittens inside, I can feel them and I think that one may be stuck in her birth canal and she hasn't passed the after birth from her last kitten yet and that was this morning. I don't know if I should take her to a vet or just leave her alone
I am very upset by this because I have had her since she was 3 weeks old. Please help!

Oh my, sounds like your cat needs some medical help.
Is there a vet that makes house calls in your area? that would be the best thing to do, since moving her mught be dagerouse.

Dont wait too long, if there really is a kitten stuck, it might be very dangerous to both her and the un-born kittens!

waiting to hear good new! Good luck!!

Hello Adravia, sounds like your little Mum is in trouble. I'm not able to tell what is wrong. I only know that I would get her to a vet or at the very least ring a vet and ask for advice. Im sure other members here could advise you with more authority, but I most certainly wouldnt leave her be without consulting a vet. Hope it all works out well for you and your furry Mum.

Get her to the vet ASAP. This is too long for her to go without having another kitten or placenta.

Did you call anybody yet??? Get on it girl! What does it say in your home birth books?? It should say what to do in an emergency and what's normal and what's not. If you don't have books on this, then the internet should have told you.

I took Lilly to the vet this morning. They gave her a shot of oxitosen to make her start contractions again but it didn't work so they did a C section. The kitten they took out was about 2 weeks old and her body was trying to absorb it so, they gave me some medicine to give her, they also spayed her in the process so no more babies for her! Lilly is doing fine she is sleeping in the bedroom in her special box with the one kitten that survived. I think that I am going to call him Survivor!

Oh my goodness!
It's a good thing you got her to the vet. Sending healing vibes to her and her little one.

Another name you might want to consider, if the kitten is a boy, is Harry, as in "Harry Potter, the boy who lived!"

I am glad you took Lily to the vet, give her a gentle hug in a few days for all she has been through. Poor sweet cat!

So glad to hear that Lily is doing fine. What a precious little bundle you have there in her kitten.
I am sure he will soon help you to put this traumatic time behind you.
