Alright, I've got a question about plants. I don't know much about them, I've got two plants here at work, (the only two I've ever kept alive more than 6 months) One is a pink Poka-dot & is always thirsty because it is a tropical plant, so at any rate that one is doing OK right now because someone has been watering them, in addition to my watering them. I usually water on Monday & Friday which actually is not enough for the poka dot, but it stays alive. However, I also have some sort of Ivy plant, which someone really really over watred today. I had been noticeing that the leaves had been turning yellow in the last couple weeks, which leads me to think someone has been watering it a lot. Well tonight I was going to water & I noticed there was standing water in the soil. I thought it was strange so I pikced up the pot the plant is in & the one it sits inside was 1/2 full of water. SO this poor plant was drowning. At any rate I took & dumped all the extra water out. So my question is how long will it take for this plant to return to normal & what happens if someone over waters it again sometime soon??
