I've read the stickys, but didn't see a specific answer to my question, so...

I have a 1yr old Manx with what you could call Manx syndrome (just to sum it up) and am getting an Ocicat kitten.

If your cat has incontinence issues (that only happens a tiny bit while sleeping on the floor, couch, bed, etc) and you are getting a new kitten, will the new cat automatically pee where the existing cat has had tiny accidnts?

I'm going to make sure everything is spotless before he/she comes home, but this is an ongoing problem that has no forseeable cure. We already tried meds, and that seemed to make it worse beacuse it is neurological prob only.

Also, how do you clean a mattress? Kitty sometimes has tiny accidents in bed with me during the night. We change the sheets and all that of course, but a new kitten will be able to smell things we can't...

And...we really don't have an extra non-use room to seperate new kitten from existing cat, depending on when we get kitten. So, do cats ever just love each other right off? We will try to contain kitten in bathroom maybe, but that's gonna be hard...

Your new cat will probably pee on old spots unless they've been cleaned properly. What type of cleanser do you use?
