Hey...

My cat didn't get the insurance in time for his injury.

Now, I am told his tail will need to be removed...

I am unable to work... anyone know if there is any sort of help I can get?

The vet bill can be up to £269... I am in the UK

I'm not sure how much help this will be, but will your Vet work out a payment plan for you?

I know my Vet does that for people all of the time.

It would help (me, at leat) if you could explain what "pets at home" is/means to you.

Thanks, that's what I was trying to say.
I've never heard of "Pets At Home" and I didn't know if it was some kind of organzation or if I was just reading the post wrong...and I'm not even blonde

To answer your question, I really don't know if they'll make a payment plan for you or not but if it were me I'd ask them.
I know most Vets here in the US will set up a plan for you and I would think Vets in the UK would do the same.

Thanks for the links to both those sites.

It seems to me that "Pets At Home" is just an online pet supply business...I don't see that they have Vets at all.

As Graciecat suggested, any question about a payment plan should be directed to your own Vet.

If they cannot arrange a payment plan for you, perhaps you would consider contacting the organization I suggested - The Mayhew Animal Home - to see if they could help, or perhaps if they might know of an org that might.

I'm happy to hear that your Sister has offered to help you out.
Please let us know how your kitty does with the surgery.

Sending and Prayers for a speedy recovery.
