I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the continued prayers and well wishes for my mom. It looks like she will be in the hospital longer then anticipated. First, the hospital is quarenteed due to the outbreak of SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and she is not allowed any visiters. No one in any hospital in Toronto are allowed any visitors unless they are children or in critical care. Second an infection has now set in. She had a temperature last night of 39.5 C or 103 F. She was due to go home tomorrow, but is back on IV and may have to stay another week. We will know more after the weekend. She is somewhat cheered to her that my sister is pregnant again (she has a 10 month old daughter). Any good news for her is a bonus. My poor dad can't even get in to see her. I will let you know if there are any new developments.
