Hi,

My cat pixie had kittens 8 weeks ago and has been fine up until the last few days. She has begun to leave spots of diarrhea around the house, it just seems to come out of her, this has been happening on and off over the weekend and ive booked her into the vet tomorrow - does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this?

She is a fairly young cat - 2 and a half and although has been extra thin after having the kittens, i have been feeding her unlimited amounts of good quality wet and dry kitten food to try and build her up again.

She hasn't eaten anything different since this began so its a bit of a mystery.

I would appreciate anyones ideas. Thanks.

It's good you are taking her to the vet. She could get dehydrated. I have an inkling it is a food allergy. Let us know how she does.

Do you know if she has passed any other stool?

Sometimes, if a cat is constipated, diarrheal matter can be passed "around" the blockage and "drip" out.
