My brother has an outdoor cat (born on the floor of a junk car) who he has so far been unable to tame enough to get to the vet for spaying. She had a run-in with a dog a few years ago, and apparently got her neck broken. He thought she would die, but after several days of lying almost motionless, she slowly recovered.

She has kittens every so often, but has almost never managed to get them past just a few days. Last fall she had three kittens who managed to grow up, and one of them has even become an indoor cat.

So, three days ago she had 2 tiny white and black kittens. This morning, when we got up, they had died.

Grow up happy at the bridge, babies. I'm sure there are plenty of mama cats there who miss their babies and will take great care of you.

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
The poor babies, and the poor girl having to keep having to have them as well
Is there no way he can set a trap down for her then she can get spayed that way?

He thinks he has what he needs to get her down there as soon as her milk dries up. She tries hard with her kittens, but there just seems to be something wrong with them.

That is such a beautiful thought, and so very true...I know that my friend Michelle will enjoy playing with them - she passed away recently, at only 35 yrs., and she had to leave her furbabies behind to help her 9 year old daughter deal with the loss of a mommy.
