I got a call at 6:30 this morning, Princess had her baby!!! This is the baby I was really waiting for!!! Princess is a bay breed to a beautiful buckskin stud!! I was hoping hoping hoping for a buckskin! And guess what!? We got one!!!!

It's another girl!!!

Little sis holding her

Mom and Babe

Look at how HUGE this baby is!!! The Palomino is a week old today! My land is this buckskin big!! I should also mension that the Palomino (the lighter colored horse) has GIANT parents, both are at least 16 hands tall which means their backs are 64 inches tall/ 5' 4"

Drinking!
Sorry, this one's a little graffic, she didn't drop all the birthing "stuff" yet.

And one of Bonnet. She's sharing the baby with Holly
Suprizingly Holly is being very nice and letting Bonnet stand by her baby and even touch it sometimes!

How did I miss the first baby!

They are both BEAUTIFUL!!! A palomino and a buckskin, how great is that!

Buckskins are my favorite and that little girl looks like she is put together very nice. They both have great legs.

Lucky you getting to watch those two grow up. Foals are so cute when they realize they can run....Look at me, I'm a racehorse, LOL.

I can't wait to see growing up pictures.

I don't know how you missed the first one!!!
I love Buckskins too! I was very happy both of them came out with straight legs and no health problems. There's been a lot of talk about the West Nile vaccination and birth defects!

I love how Bonnet adores all of the babies
Bonnet is a kill! Both Holly AND Bonnet nicker at the baby!
The other funny thing is that when I take her places were other horses are (for riding and such) she'll neigh and neigh at ponys!!!
I'm possitive she thinks they are just baby horses!

I keep saying the same thing! Maybe this town doesn't have any farm animals laws
I CAN'T wait to find a house in the country! But that will most likely be in two years when I'm done with school and have money to put towards the payments for a house!
Curse school for taking so long!

We really would like to keep the buckskin, but I think it will all amount to which one is easier to work with. Which ever we keep will be our show horse, so most likely it will be the buckskin anyway!

It is really hard to choose though, because they have shows for buckskins only and palominos only. Both colors aren't common in our area so either way.... I'm just so

Well the buckskin's name is Tora, which means born in a thunderstorm.

As for the palomino....that's my job! I'm thinking of Epona, which means divine mare, and is a celtic horse goddess.

Yay! Another beautiful little filly for you!

You are so lucky to have a buckskin and a palomino too.

The two babies will have so much fun running around the field together.
I can see that Auntie Bonnet will be a great babysitter for the two little ones when you start to wean them from their moms.

The two little Quarter Horse fillies at the barn that my daughter rides at are a bay and a blue eyed Cremello(her mom is a Palomino).
They will both be turning 1 year old in the next month.
They are best friends because they are growing up together, I bet your two little ones will be best friends too.

I can't wait to see them grow up together! Princess, the buckskins mom, is still really protective. I think she'll calm down like Holly after a week or so. Holly lets Bonnet babysit all the time!
I bet they will be running together in no time!
