OMG - It's the Loquat tree guy!

I was dressed this time!

I pulled into my driveway and there was a county truck with a guy putting a pest trap in another one of our trees. This one is at the opposite end of the house from the infamous loquat tree. Didn't he want to put that trap in the loquat tree I asked? No he said. We don't put these in fruit trees.

Okay, lived here for 14 years. We always have a trap in the loquat fruit tree but not in this other non-fruit tree. But, apparently now the county thinks that one should be in this tree too.

Uh-huh. It wasn't the same guy as before - I'll remember that face forever - so I guess I am now well-known among the county pest-monitoring guys.

I'm sure he made up the excuse so he could come see what his co-worker was jabbering about.

Actually, I told my husband your story, and his brother works in pest control, and he wants to know EXACTLY where you live so he could see about a transfer!

At least you are getting excellent service.

I love loquats! My grams has one in her yard...so yummy! Not to be confused with kumqauts, which are not so yummy
