Yeah, I'm a bit surprised too.. I kept having to talk with little kids for a while too, and I'm not sure how, maybe I left a comment in a welcome thread for her or something, but this girl PMed me (who happens to be around my age, surprisingly), and we got to talking, and then she gave me the username of her friend who introduced her, who is also pretty nice to talk with, so I've been having fun chatting with them.

Both of your signatures are very oversized. The file size is well over 100K and the maximum file size you can have here is 30K.

Its really easy actually, one day Ill grab say 3 eggs, which means I could still pick up abandoned hatchlings and one more egg! Then thee next day Ill pick up a abandoned hatchling and the next day an egg and the day after that the hatchlings will be grown up and time to start again! Since they're spread out I can normally get an egg every single day! Which I love! Today I got the silver and the Dino, yesterday I got the abandoned green one and red hatchling, today my black egg hatched into a hatchling opening up another space!

The general rule of thumb is you can have 4 hatchlings and 4 eggs at the same time, you just wont be able to pick up anymore eggs!

I just had a situation that I've never encountered before.

I had 3 hatchlings. Two had grown wings but were a couple days away from becoming an adult. The other had not yet grown wings.

I also had a chicken egg on the verge of hatching.

So that is 3 hatchlings and 1 egg about to hatch.

I picked up a gold egg, so that brought my egg total to 2.

If that chicken egg hatched before one of my hatchlings grew up, that would have given me 4 hatchlings and 1 egg that was many days away from hatching.

I didn't know what to do so I froze my oldest hatchling.

So now I have 2 hatchlings, 1 chicken egg about to hatch, and one newly aquired gold egg. That is 2 eggs and 2 hatchlings.

Did I need to freeze that hatchling? If I didn't freeze that hatchling, what would have happened if that chicken egg hatched and I ended up with 4 hatchlings and that 1 gold egg?

After I froze that hatchling, I looked at glitch's scroll and saw 4 hatchilngs and 3 eggs. I just looked again and 1 egg has died.

How many hatchlings and eggs can you have in your scroll at any one time?

Someone said 3 hatchilngs and 3 eggs, yet glitch's scroll has more than that. Before the dead egg there were 4 hatchlings and 3 eggs.

So did I need to freeze that hatchling? I've frozen 2 hatchlings because I was afraid of having 4 hatchlings along with unhatched eggs because I didn't know what would become of the eggs.

I'm not sure because I sledom have more than 2 or 3 of eggs or hatchlings at any give time but I do know that if you are at you limit when you try to steal another egg you'll get a message about having enough already and it won't let you pick up a new egg. The problem is, when you encounter a rare egg you'll hardly have time to grab it let alone go freeze or kill something to make room for it.

You can have four of each at a time.. but once the eggs hatch, if the hatchlings haven't matured.. you'll have more than four, but you can't get any eggs until you have less than four eggs and hatchlings again. I had four of each at one point and the eggs started hatching before the hatchlings matured, and I had a mess of hatchlings, but luckily they all matured fine.


I don't think you needed to freeze any hatchlings.

Ok, thanks. I went into panic mode because I really didn't want to lose that gold egg! LOL It's only the second time I've seen one and I'm surprised that I managed to get it.

Nope, you'll be fine.
I know how that goes, I've only come across a few gold eggs, and I haven't managed to get one yet. Maybe one of these days..


(Someone with male and female gold dragons should breed them and be a friend and do an egg drop!

Yeah you really didn't have to freeze the hatchling, you're allowed 4 hatchlings and then you wont be able to pick up new eggs, but if you have 4 hatchlings and 3 eggs you'll be okay! My Silver egg got murdered!
so thats what happened there to put a dead egg on my screen! If you look at the clicks to unique views, it isn't good! Ill make sure that doesn't happen again!
