Everyone have a safe Memorial weekend.

How are you going to spend your Memorial weekend? Any traveling plans, BBQ's, boating excursions?

We have several birthday's to celebrate this weekend along with our annual BBQ at my parents house. My son turns 18 tomorrow and we always have big family get togethers on Memorial Day so we are combining the two events.

Lots of swimming, food and margarita's!

Nothing that I know of. John is always off on Mondays anyway so it's probably just going to be a usual weekend for us... lots of working outside if the weather is nice. John's dad may cook some stuff on the grill, he did last year.

Doug has to work all weekend, including Monday so we aren't doing anything

Wednesday is my birthday so we may do something then instead, but after work of course. I hate his job

I am spring cleaning for Memorial Day weekend. BOOOOOOOO. Cleaning carpets and the works.

I may take a break on Saturday or Sunday and go see Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull though!

We went last night to opening of Indiana Jones. Good movie, a few of the scenes weren't very realistic IMO. It was entertaining and Harrison Ford looked outstanding!

Well, originally we were going to visit my in-laws and my SIL & I were going to do a Trash the (wedding) dress photo shoot. Unfortunately, my Godmother's husband (also my brother's Godfather) passed away this week and the funeral is tomorrow morning. So, the remainder of our holiday will probably be spent at home, cooking out at my parents, and I need to study. Yipee!

We may go to the movies and lunch or something. We haven't been out in a while, so hubby and I need a "date."
Also, I'm sure we'll visit his parents and my parents.

My dad is going to buy a grill (ours fell over and broke during a storm) and grill out, hopefully. I'm not gonna go anywhere because gas is too expensive!

I'm honestly not sure yet. Colin has to work on Memorial Day as does my brother-in-law Jason, so i may just invite my sister and her kiddos and my mom over for lunch or something like that. Not sure yet.

Well Neil got sucked in by one of his brothers to go to the farm to do some repairs to the barn even though there are a million things he should do here.
I have spend the last three days buying hundreds of dollars of annual and perennial plants for both clients and myself and I have some planting to do!! But frost warnings tonite so now I have to drag them all inside just in case!!
I want to start planting veg garden this weekend, yard work continues and we will grill out some time.
