Does a UTI mean crystals for sure? or can it just be a bacterial infection of some kind?

Will cosemein affect the PH?

Pansy had bloody urine this am, just recently did a course of antibiotics, was ok for a few days.

The ph of the urine was 6.25 which is fine, and I did not feel any sandy material in it. So that tells me no struvite crystals. so then duhh? What gives? His diet is not over acid, so I don't think it is the oxalite stones, so what can it be? Should he get cosemein for his bladder? waiting to hear from the vet, but I find you guys know more than they do for long term managing.

A cat can have a UTI, but no crystals in the urine.

Blood is an indicator of an irritation of the bladder, so it often (not always) goes along with crystals or stones.

That's all the advice I can give....and I'm not sure how helpful it was.
