I was looking for some books to buy this morning and found a set at Barnes and Noble.com that I've been wanting to get for a long time. This is a three part series written by famed civil war historian Shelby Foote about the American Civil War.
The first book deals with Fort Sumter to Perrysville. The second with Fredericksburg to Meridian. The third with Red River to Appomattox. Respectively, that's 840 pages, 988 pages and 1105 pages.
All three are hardcover and at $14.98 each that was too good of a deal to pass up for them.
