If Stoli ever stops I'll know....

Something must be wrong.

Every day - every time I walk up the stairs - he races me to the top and flops on the second to last step for me to rub his belly. Then he wants to play the chase the mouse on the bed game. I stand in the door and he stands on the bed and waits for me to toss him the mouse - of course he catches it in mid air and then runs all around the bed like a wild kitty.


And my favorite -

Just about every night....he'll meow a muffled meow and walk into the bedroom with a sock in his mouth. Drop it by me I'll pick him up - he settles in and purrs. Then I lay down with him on my chest and he starts to sleep. When I'm done reading I pull the cover up and he walks down me and settles in for a bath - between my legs of course so I can't move. But I don't care - I love it!

Awww. We love the rituals and routines as much as they do!

I love the night time rituals I have with all my cats. Fiona goes over to my sisters bed...so we really don't have a nighttime ritual, unless you count ignoring me

Ree-Ree hops up on the bed, meows loudly at me like he is yelling "it's about time!" and then comes on top of me for scratches. Then he goes to find Fiona for "sucky toes time" (he sucks her toes ) Than comes back on the bed to settle in for a nap.

Rocko is usually already on the bed. He is my old guy who likes to sleep alot. But as soon as Ree-Ree leaves he comes on over for his scratches and to make biscuits on my belly. Than he settles down next to me for naps.

So i have two of my kitties sleeping with me as I nod off....I usually wake up with just Rocko on the bed.
