Since I had some free time today I decided a nice dinner was in order..

So this evening I am having roast beef, fresh potato's and savory cabbage with butter and garlic. For dessert fresh strawberries and cream..

It is all in the oven cooking at this moment and smells wonderful

So what's on your menu?

Since I have class tonight, it is whatever I can grab quickly before heading off to school.

We are having steak tonight, too. With a green salad and wild rice.

We also have a bit of potato salad to finish up; I made it for a BBQ last night (all from scratch, including home-made mayo - no hidden sugars or yucky additives). REALLY good.

I'm heating up a Red Baron 4 Meats pizza. I didn't defrost the ground beef to make penne with marinara & ground beef - so we went with the pizza.

The MIL told us the week's supply of porkchops is in the fridge ... but ugh, I just cant deal with eating something that was cooked one day, and have the leftovers everyday over the course of the entire week. (And, they aren't that good anyway, IMO).

I had turkey breast cutlets in the fridge that HAD to be used. So I seasoned up some flour, dredged the cutlets in that, sauteed them... and made a pan sauce from the stuff on the bottom - with white wine and chicken stock.

Steamed seasoned zhucchini and baked sweet potatoes. Light ice cream for dessert.

I'm busy making veggie burgers. I've made some black bean ones. I'm currently cooking lentils to make some with those. Not sure which one I'm going to have though. I may end up eating spaghetti tonight because I'm a bit sick of looking at veggie burgers right now! LOL
