Ever have one of those days?

I am so angry right now it's not even funny. I have been in a lousy mood for quite some time. I was suppose to go with a friend to photograph birds, but felt lousy this morning so I stayed home to catch up on sleep. I worked in the rose garden...got scratched up and caught all over, and now my ICQ cursor has moved from the left side to the right by accidently hitting some keys. Out of sheer frustration I can't get it corrected and just about broke my keyboard trying to fix it.

Ever have one of those days where you wonder why you even bother with anything? It all seems so pointless and trivial. Tomorrow also brings another day in the dungeon.

I just had to get this rant out.

I know how you feel, I've had plenty of days like this, even a few recently, and I hate them!

Hope everything gets better soon, ranting feels good when all you are is angry.

I'd feel better if I could fix my cursor and it goes where it is suppose to.

There is nothing worse than having to go to work sick! Yuck! I'm sorry, Fran. I hope you feel better soon.

Lately, I am angry or depressed all the time. I just don't care. I take care of things that I need to because they are my responsibility, but anything else, I just don't. I have no joy left for anything.

A quote I heard, back in high school:

"My mother told me there'd be days like this, but she never told me the days could become months!"

Duchess15, I know exactly how you feel. My house is a wreck, laundry is piling up, but I just don't care. My kitties get fed, I cook when I have to. Otherwise I could lay right on the couch and stare at the ceiling, wondering why I even got out of bed.

How true! I have heard that before.

Well, with my mom gone, it's left to me to do most of the housework because my dad just doesn't do it. He does some, but not much and so it wears me out. By the time I'm done with the house and try to do yard work, I"m too tired.

I think you may be able to do that. I always feel like I'm coming home when I go over to visit.

Well, I'm dead tired and didn't run like I wanted so it's not starting out great. I will have to force myself to do it tomorrow.

You sound like you need a nice big ice cream sundae, with hot chocolate sauce, walnuts, nice thick whipped cream, one of those fancy cookie sticks stuck in the side and a maraschino cherry on top.

Rather than getting frustrated/depressed about something I try to put down whatever is frustrating me, go away and do something fun (eating something yummy is always fun and doesn't have to be all that expensive), and come back when I'm in a better mood and things usually fix themselves and you'll have fresh ideas, different ways to approach things.

Or change something, like rearrange your bedroom. Maybe you just need some change in your life, something to break the monotony.

Truth be told, that is one reason we are going to Europe this summer. I was suppose to go with my mom...well, that won't be happening now. My dad is going instead and I'm hoping that the place I feel at home at will help me feel better in some way and just being with family.

I had icecream cake and it didn't help.
