Embarrassing Neighbours

Do you have any neighbours that you feel embarrassed to be seen around?

There is one such woman living in my building!

Today I took Chynna outside. One woman who used to live on my floor now lives in an apartment on the main floor that faces the front...where I was.

She started to talk to me through her screen, which was ok. I couldn't really hear her for the noise outside, but she bearly took a breath so I didn't really have to acknowledge her.

Suddenly she appears outside the building. She was bare foot. She had some kind of multi-coloured silk scarf over her head. She was wearing a thick black sweater or jacket that went to mid hip level. And a white slip (yes the kind you wear under dresses or skirts) that went to a few inches below her knees, and she also wore what looked like a red tutu over the slip!

I think I am the embarassing neighboor. DH always have some junk car in the driveway. The grass in our back yard is like three feet tall. We need a riding mower to cut it because a push mower sure and the heck won't do the job. That's about it though.

I think our entire neighborhood is loony! No joke eithor!!!!

There is one lady directly next door to us that we actually call "crazy lady" between the two of us- she is a nut job too! The police dpt has been out there more times than i can count- she is also a hoarder too- it's aweful! We drove past her garage one day when it was open and i mean it is up to the door stuffed full of junk- including a toilet! She has had numerous dui charges against her as well and has had her kids taken out of her custody because her house isn't suitable for them to live in. It's kind of sad actually I always see her wearing the same clothing too- i'm not sure she bathes often. Colin said the last time that his coworkers were called out to her house they tried to offer her help but she wouldn't take it. She definitely has some mental stuff going on though



Then directly on the other side of our house there is a nutty old lady who lives there. I tried to say hi and introduce myself and my husband to her one day when we first moved in and she just ignored us....(she could hear us to- she just walked away) i wasn't sure what to make out of that Then the next time we saw her, she was driving her little riding mower around in the heat on a particurally hot day- so Colin went outside to ask her if she would like him to help and she just ignored him then too Weird!

Now get this- just today- the neighbor next to the older lady had a domestic dispute outside- the father hit his daughter pretty bad (Colin and my nephew were outside cutting wooden boards to fix the floor in our attic so they saw everything.) Colin called his coworkers out and went over there to see what was going on. The ladies there just screamed at him and were just nuts!

The house beside that one has a bunch of teenagers that Colin and his coworkers have had to write SEVERAL citations to for doing drugs out in the open (i mean right in the middle of their yard at night!) and for under aged drinking.

I think our whole neighborhood is insane! It looks nice and pretty on the outside but most of the neighbors are weird!!! I honestly feel sorry for crazy lady and wish she would accept some help to get her life together- but the other ones, man there's just no excuse!

Thankfully i don't, but i've cracked up at the description of what she was wearing Is she elderly?

dont care what other people think.
SO, would not care if someone was near me loooking silly.
now if they naked in nothing but flip flops, the real question would be,
why i am still stand there hhehe

Maybe she is deaf?

Today I was the embarassing neighbour..

At my sisters house, I have to park across the street. I walked across to my car this morning in my grey pyjama pants with flamingos on them that are too short revealing my pink fuzzy socks..with disheveled hair and a sweater on that was too small

I am the crazy neighbor, outside in "daisy duke" shorts & a too small tank top with no bra on. Thankfully, I live in the country where my neighbors are 1/2 mile away!

Not to be gross Natalie but you have the body to wear that kind of stuff. I wouldn't be caught dead outside in some daisy dukes and a tank with no bra. Heck, I don't even have a bikini body anymore.

Bless her, that`s cute!

There are plenty of crazies near me but most of them are scary. I was accosted by one this morning when I went for a run Going a different route tomorrow!

About a week after that photo was taken the wind picked up and blew trash everywhere. It was stuck all along our fence.
Thankfully they did pick it up and eventually moved the furniture.
Now if only they would stop blaring rap music with the subs turned up really high...

Awwww...bless her heart. At least she was trying to get herself decent before she came out to talk to you, and covered her hair. She was probably sitting there in nothing but a slip. Does she have anyone else to talk to? It could be she just saw a familiar face and wanted to make an appearence (and what an appearence that had to have been!). I remember some of the combinations my grandmother...and well, my mom, for that matter...came up with when they went out to change the laundry or weed the garden. But, they made up for it when they went "out".

At least she doesn't sound like a "crazy" neighbor. Eccentric, but basically harmless. Not quite sure where she got the tutu from....hmmmm. What shoes was she wearing? If you say fuzzy pink slippers I will LMAO!!!!
