They actually weigh the same. Johnny Cash is a bit shorter and stockier built, while Riley is built long and lean. Johnny is heaver boned, bigger head, etc. He may not have been neutered as young as Riley was so maybe that makes a difference? Riley's tail is about twice as long too

We have another black cat who has several large patches where the fur grew back in white after he was severely burned with battery acid. I guess maybe the injury kills the pigment?

Johnny is a great foster cat, but I just don't have that personal connection with him. With Riley I knew the minute I saw him that he was mine

Every time the wrestle like that, I spend the next half hour picking up little black furballs off the floor
