It might help members give you feedback about your kittie's shyness if you told us some history about her.
How old is she?
Were did you get her and how long has she been with you?
Are there other animals in your home?
What have you tried that you hoped might change her fearful behavior.
Are there times when she is not fearful?
What triggers her fear?

You can use the search tool located on the right side of the tool bar to bring up other threads about shy or aggressive cats.
Sending calming vibes to your kitty.

Were did you get her and how long has she been with you? Been with us six months (roughly. Came froma rescue centre.
Are there other animals in your home? Nope
What have you tried that you hoped might change her fearful behavior. Tried leaving some of the things she looks upon as being a threat where she can see them and smell them.
Are there times when she is not fearful? Only when asleep in her secret place - she's completely camoflaged in there.
What triggers her fear? Anything. Everything (or so it seems to me)
