First Cleo and now Seldon. Someone left a door open in my house and again one of my cats got out. This time a stray Alpha cat tried to fight my three cats and somehow Seldon got out.
We looked for hours and hours and we heard cat fighting but he is gone. I fear the worst because he has an injured paw and he is not a fighter. He is my sweet comedian.

I can't believe this. Never has this happened. We found Cleo easily but with the Alpha running around...My mind goes to a million different bad scenarios.
I am also angry because I told this person a billion times to lock the door after you smoke. So now Seldon is gone.
I can't stop crying and I am exhausted.

I have been up all night and I finally got a glimpse of him next door. The house behind me has a little girl who has pet chickens. Seldon was in the chicken coop. Then he ran away under their house. The house is huge so he could be deep in there somewhere.

That is what irritates me in this. I am very clear about the fact that I have indoor only cats. I am very clear about locking the doors when you come in because doors can open if not shut properly.
It takes maybe 2 seconds to do this very simple thing.

If it were Mary I would have felt more confident because she spent time as a stray before going to the shelter and has instincts. Seldon and Cleo were born in the shelter and have never spent a moment outside. I know cats have natural instincts but still he is most likely scared. He was always the one who would NEVER go out even if the door was open. My cats don't even try to get out as people come and go.
Cleo has just realized that his brother is not here and looks completely lost. He started running down the hall and usually Seldon comes out of nowhere and a game ensues.
I am very angry with the smoker. Very. I had a children's birthday party at my house, it was a scorching hot day and my health is not the best so I looked forward to resting and spending time with my kitties. My daughter cried herself to sleep because Seldon usually lays with her when she goes to sleep before coming into my room.
Now Cleo is crying and looking for his brother.

Thankfully he is microchipped and on file at the vet.

Please send me some vibes and some of that TCS magic to bring my baby boy home.

Thank you.
I can't think of much else. I thought I was cried out but the tears keep coming.
The other cats are now depressed. They are not eating like they normally would nor are they interested in playing.

I feel guilty because I just got their new collars and received their tags with their names and my phone number. I had not put them on yet. They are glow in the dark with a bell.

I got some flashlights and put food out hoping hunger would drive him out of hiding.

You guys have the power to move mountains! All of your vibes worked!
I went out with a flashlight and treats plus your powerful vibes and found him.He was dirty, scared and has a scratch on his face. He was under the deck if the house behind mine. He saw me and hesitated a moment and then came right to me. I cried with joy.
Then he got a warm bath, cuddles, treats and he is back sleeping on his favorite chair.

I put their collars on right away.

I am so drained. I could barely sleep.
It is true that cats are usually close to home but when you don't know where they are it is horrible.
Thank you for caring. It really helped.

Thank you for being here for me. It is hard to describe the feeling of a missing cat. There are so many things out there that can be scary or harmful. I wanted to stay positive but I kept thinking I won't see him again.
He is back to his old self again finally.
