I have 1 very timid cat. She's a black cat who was abused, so at the moment she's frightened of everything. Sticks, cameras (the attack was apparently filmed), you name it she's scared of it!

She came from the local rescue place.

Her name when we got her was Ruby, so that name stuck.

She puffs up and hisses at practically everything so I can't get pictures of her yet. We've had her for about six months now.

You have some homework ahead of you.
Dig in and get started....
make yourself at home.
There is a lot of info in behavior about how to help a scared, aggressive cat.
Go to that behavior form, start your own thread ,while at the same time begin reading other members threads and posts about similar issues.
Don't forget the sticky threads.

With time, patience, education and a lot of love, you can solve Ruby's problem...

She's probably like that with brooms as well!

I've not tried her with a broom yet. Not a good idea (unless I want her to run off)
