I've been spending a little bit of time with these little babies. They're stuck at the shelter rather in a foster home because their mum has really bad diarrhea which isn't going away. I think they're 4 weeks now, maybe 5?
Yesterday I had my first socialising session with them, and the 3 of them just stood there shivering and yelling for their mum. Once they calmed down, they had a great time playing. Today when I had them out, they had maybe a minute of confusion, then got to the serious business of playing!
They were more outgoing than yesterday, and were climbing all over me, and snuggling with me. I almost died from the cuteness! Mum is a lovebug as well. I don't think she's the best mum - the kittens were trying to nurse a number of times, and she wouldn't let them. For the hour they were out, she wouldn't let any of them nurse. Once they were back in their cage and were more confined, they all jumped at her for some milk
Anyway, enough talk! Here's the kits!
Little smoke boy and little black boy (too hard to tell apart in the photos)
Black and white boy (he has a cute little white splotch on his nose)
