When I aquired my foster kitty she had just given birth to 4 beautiful kittens!
However since then she has put very little (if any) weight. The kittens are 2 months old now (tomorrow) and still nurse occasionaly (sp).
I've tried milk, and egg. Mom dosen't like either one. We feed 9 lives wet food and mom eats 2 a day. It's starting to get pricy, and frusturating b/c mom is still very thin. What else is there I can give her to fatten her up?

She needs free choice of food all day so keep out a bowl of dry kitten chow filled up and still feed the canned 2 xs per day. This is what I do. My momma cat lost a lot of weight nursing babies so I fattened her up this way. She nursed her 5 babies along with her sister's 4 that she pretty much abandoned. Thankfully the 4 older ones are now adopted and the 5 younger 5 1/2 week olds are all she has to deal with.
