I have two ferrets, and I adore them! If I could have fifty more, I would. They are nature's little practical joke. We haven't decided if they're all born brain damaged or just brutally insane, lol. The link below has old pics of my two right after we got the little girl. She's teeny in those pics, but looks very different now (their coloring changes a lot as they mature).

My older boy is 100% perfect about his litter box, and I'm not the most accomodating ferret owner (I don't put a litter box outside of the cage for him, so he goes back into his cage to use it). He's also 100% when it comes to knocking over every drink he can find and stealing my keys. The little girl is very snugly. They both love the cats, and Lucy enjoys playing with them.

We have a great ferret rescue up here, and I go out of my way to buy their custom bedding and donate to them. Their petfinder listings with videos are hilarious: http://search.petfinder.com/shelterS...ort=&preview=1

One of the gentlemen I work with and his wife are both involved with ferret rescue. Sometimes when he is nursing a sick one back to health, he'll bring it in to the office with him for the day.
