the top of the bathroom door is a cool place to hang out. I know that cats are good jumpers and very agile, but I worry about her. She is my little princess and I worry she will get up there while I am at work and not be able to get down. She really isn't the smartest cat on earth, and so far she won't come down unless I am standing under the door and she can jump on my shoulder. I just need reassurance that if she got up there she can get down on her own.

You may have to teach her to jump down. Or if there is enough room, a small chair (that will not move much) near the door for her to have an inbetween jumping surface.

Last night while I was in the bath tub she did figure out how to jump back down to the bathroom sink. There was nothing graceful about it, but atleast I know she won't be stuck up there. She is such a goof ball.

Saturday while I was in the bath she jumped on to the shower curtain rod. Luckily she's got good balance. She did not fall in the tub as I was afraid she would, but she was not up there long before she realized how uncomfortable it was. I would just love to know why she has suddenly decided to jump on top of things like this? She's 3, why now, why not when she was younger?

Who knows what goes on in a little cat's mind

I had a rex kitten (3 months old) decide to scale up the curtains - across the rod and then jump back down on the back of a chair. He only did it one time - no problems, just trying to prove to himself or something that he could do it

Saturday night she was eyeing up the curtain rod, and I just told her "You don't want to do that." I wonder if she is getting a little bored because all of her big brothers want to sleep more than play. She is still a little on the crazy side.
