Sophie is sick

I have to take my little toy pom Sophie to the vet today. She has had diaheria for 5 days. I have phone the vet several times, he has told me to give her kaopectate, she has had pepto bismol. nothing is helping. I am really worried. i was up with her 5 times last night.

Sophie is in surgery. the vet said the diaheria is a not a worry, how ever there is a lump in or on her uterus. so he is spaying her immediately. She has had a liquid cyst since she was puppy, I had taken her to several vets , they all said it was nothing, to be concerned about. but it has suddenly tripled in size.

Sophie is now home, she had a few complications, so I will be watching her very carefully. The phoned he would normally keep her over night, but he felt Sophie was too stressed and would probably do better at home. She is resting comfortably in her kennel with her favorite blanket.
