As some of you may know, my s/o and I rescued one of our strays, after we found out she was pregnant. I just couldn't stand the thought of her having even more babies outside, and I knew that her so-called "owners" wouldn't take care of them either - any more than they take care of all their other cats.
So we rescued Salem, and she had her babies almost 5 weeks ago.
We were only going to keep Salem and 1 or 2 of the babies, but we decided to keep them all, b/c one of them has a birth defect (a "bad" leg) and we figure no one will want to adopt her. And so far, no one has shown any interest in adopting any of them..
Oh well - their loss is my gain.
So now we have a family of ten furbies: Maverick, Geronimo, Winchester, Spencer, Gabriel, Salem, Ricochet, Chiquita, Cassidy, & Jinx.
I'll betcha that no one will want to make an attempt at making me a new siggy now!
