Boomer, my new Sun

I saw an ad on CL for a Sun Conure in a cage that was barely fit for a finch so I had to go get him. I picked him up on Friday and he has a much better cage now. He is such a character too! I wasn't sure if he was going to be staying or a foster but I think he will be staying for good. Here he is.

OMG, he's beautiful!!! I've wanted a Sun Conure for a long time, but DH says "no birds". I hope you keep us updated with pics of him!

You just got an amazon didn't you? I thought I would mention that you should qaurentine the new bird in a different room from him for at least 30 days. It explains it here http://www.parrotparrot.com/library/quarantine.htm

Just thought I would let ya know if you didn't. Don't want it to come off as a lecture though lol. I didn't know you should when I first got into birds.
