That's horrible. I hope by getting this story out that something will be done to fix this injustice.

The mentality of that town really burns me up
tho it's not that much different than the current majority way of thinking in Green Bay, WI.
http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/...G0101/80510025
So, the animal control and humane society are anti-TNR. And no healthy dogs have been euthanized in at least 2 year, yet 3 cat per day, average, are destroyed
All I can say besides that is MEGA PRAYERS & VIBES TO CATS ANONYMOUS in Green Bay, that they accomplish their goal of changing public views & succeed in their TNR efforts
And more prayers and vibes f9r any cat lovers who may remain in Pitcher Creek, AB

There's also some place in Australia where they hang cats from a tree to warn passersby not to bring cats into their town.

Cats take away from quality of life? They've obviously never had one snuggled on their lap, kneading and purring away.

So what's the town peoples response to nuisance children? (ie - kids playing in someone else's yard, trees, accidentally lost a ball over a fence)

Ha ha .... that's a good one!! I can just picture live traps baited with candy and toys......

So, I guess I'll have to take Pincher Creek off my list of hot vacations spots, eh?

Okay while I get why I would never move to this place and I find their dirty deed discusting and horrid.

At what point did this lady tell herself "Hmmmmm maybe I should keep my cats indoors?"

Was it when she wrote off the first one to be hit by a car? Nope.

Was it at the point she had to go to the pound and pay impoundment fees? Not there.

Was it at the point that her cat came home with a bullet wound? Still not getting it?

THEN if that wasn't enough, ANOTHER CAT GOES MISSING?

We live in a terrible world where not everyone loves cats. If I knew I lived in a unfriendly cat neighborhood, I would keep them indoors.
