Worried about my girl

Hi, this is my first post here. Excuse it if I don't remember everything to put in my post, ask me anything I've forgotten. My name is Linda and I'm mom to 10 furballs, including kittens. My queen, Bity, had a rough delivery about 6 weeks ago, a kitten died inside her, she was infected and she had an emergency spay. She really hasn't been the same since. She was in recovery mode, eating and drinking fine but not really playing like she used too. Now she seems unwell. Not at all recovered. She's back on antibiotics and not eating well, sometimes running a fever. She doesn't feel good. She acts depressed also. Could this be from the hormone change? She couldn't handle the kittens after the operation so my other queen took them over, luckily she still had milk. I guess what I'm asking is, is there anything I could be doing to make her feel better or to boost the antibiotics effect. I still owe the vet $300.00 so I don't know if I can get help there at the moment.

I'm sorry to hear about Bity. Perhaps you could post a thread about this in the Pregnant Cats & Kitten Care forum. There are members there who will have experience with this and can offer advice.
