So yesterday I got a new lawn mower and I fully intended to cut the grass today. Its one of those house chores I actually like. But alas it dang rained today. But all week it should be bright and sunny. So when this week can I cut the grass?

Probably two days after it stops, one day if you want, I guess.

We had a guy on my block as a kid that seemed to ONLY mow in the rain.
We thought he was trip.

My husband always claims it's easier after it rains, and he's very particular about the yard, so I'd say tomorrow.

Thats what I am thinking of doing depending on how soggy the ground. It rained hard this morning for a good bit and it been off and on this afternoon. But it appears to be clearing now so depending on the sogginess on the ground I will either tomorrow or Tuesday.

I am so excited I get to use my new lawn mower.....

Under the cats, mostly.
I'd wait a couple of days. If it's an electric mower, I suggest you wait until the grass is fully dry, just in case the unthinkable should happen and you accidentally mow the cable.
Petrol driven doesn't matter so much.
