Howdy all,
I have a seven year tabby and a one year old maine coon mix. I love them both and don't doubt that at all. The tabby, Sulley, is my buddy and he loves to listen to me pick guitar and sing. But my one year old, Savannah, is somewhat of a handful. She can't stand my guitar and she loves to chew on stuff. She is rowdy and quite a handful. Recently, I acquired a beautiful Brazilian Brindle tri-color cowhide. Well, ol' Sulley loves the thing and loves to lounge on top of it, which is fine by me. But Savannah is an all together different story, it seems she thinks the cowhide is her personal chew toy.
A couple of days after work now, I've found the rug turned up on its sides and some chew marks on it. Does anyone know of any chemical or spray I can put on the bottom of the rug to deter her desire to chew on it? Maybe a bad taste in her mouth would help to break this behavior. Thanks in advance for any advice.
