I need a new lawn mower

The one I have now used to be my Dad's. It's like 20 years old, not self propelled, and the fumes that come off of it half suffocate me. I have to take short breaks all the time otherwise I might faint from sucking in all those fumes. DH said something about getting a new mower next week but I'm not going to count on it. I should just refuse to mow until we do.

Im using an old reel mower, too cheap to pay $4 a gallon to mow my lawn.

If you are buying a new one for quality make sure the body of the mower is cast vs stamped metal. Cast decks will last much longer!! And the new mowers do have to meet some emission standards now.

We use an electric mower, but we have a pretty small yard.

I would be happy just to have a lawn of my own.

Hubs just bought me a new one today. We spent 158.00 on it. 158cc engine but other than that its a no frills lawn mower.
