Morning All!!

Very nice spring day here.

Heading off to work in a bit, have several tons of paperwork to finish up so that should keep me occupied for a bit.

After work I have to drop some pictures off at my aunts and most likely I will have dinner with her. She gets a little down around mother's day her only child passed away shortly after he was born and she was never able to have anymore so it kind of a sad time for her.

Other then that I am planning a nice hot bubble bath and a early night. I haven't slept very good this week and it is starting to catch-up with me..

The kitties are good, watching the dog next door which is one of their favorite pass-times.

I'm at work this morning....yuck! Will check out a few stores on the way home, meet up with a friend for Dairy Queen, and then head home to take a nap.

I also need to clean the house, but that's after my nap. My computer is having issues so I need to figure out why. I can't restore it at all. Not good.

Today is the first nice day all week and will be the last this weekend, so we'll probably spend a good amount of time outside. John will probably work on his motorcycles while I work with the horses. We may go shopping today too, if I feel like going out.

Finish my morning coffee, visit with my friends here and a few other locations, then work on cleaning up the house. My MIL is coming in on Friday. She's not fussy, and our house is always cleaner than hers, but it's still a good idea.

Today is my mom's birthday, so I was going to go to the grocery store to pick up stuff to make dinner for her this evening. I woke up with a migraine from h-e-double toothpicks...so I'm going back to bed. Maybe I'll feel better this evening, and we can order a pizza and watch the Red Wings game together (she's a huge fan!) So glad I refilled my Imitrex yesterday...it's the only thing that's keeping it bearable right now....
The girls know something's up...they're all over me...purring and rubbing...my sweet, furry little nurses....

Aww...I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I can relate to migraines. I get them every 1 to 2 weeks.

I hope your mom has a Happy Birthday either way and I think that no matter what you end up doing, she will appreciate it all the same.

Working this morning till 12. Been wicked slow, so I've spent most of my morning on the arcade playing Bubble Shooter.
Boyfriend has the whole weekend off for once; that's very rare since he works retail. So we'll prob just hang out around the apartment. I have to clean and do the elliptical and the pilates I did last night. Other than that, just relaxing.

Its raining right now. We hit about 6-7 Yard/Garage Sales in the area; got a few nice bargins


DH wanted to work on the leak on the roof, but with it raining, ain't no way he's gonna do it now.

We plan on going out this afternoon and meeting his mom and taking her out to eat for Mother's Day (for me too). We'll hit some more Yard Sales on the way there

It was DH's birthday yesterday, so we are going out to dinner tonight to a place that serves beef.
I am going to my salsa class this afternoon. Afterwards, we are going dishwasher shopping and maybe car shopping.
It is a nice day today; sunny and 80F.

I havent done much of anything so far today! We are going to go pick up our patio furniture that my boss gave us. And we are probably going to go see Iron Man tonight.

The cats are still very angry with us. Although they arent growling as bad at Google!

We went to a family reunion for a few hours, and now I'm just sitting around, feeling tired from eating so much.. and it's kind of dark, so that doesn't really help.

Doing laundry and packing for VACATION!! Leaving tomorrow night for Niagara Falls, I can't wait. Weather outside is rainy here so no yard work this weekend.

Well this morning we woke up, then fell asleep 3 more times. Took a shower and played more of this fun online game called Ikariam for a few. Got ready to drive to my parents' house in NC for the weekend.

Got to NC and it was 84* and sunny out, not much humidity - yay! Went to Sears with my mom to get a new microwave because theirs burnt up this past week (literally, you can smell wires burning). Then she made cheesesteak sandwiches for dinner ... I love eating at my parents' house!
(Tomorrow she is making my favorite dinner again, even though its mothers day and I offered to either cook or take her out!). Now I'm just relaxing, and enjoying the weekend (its even better because I'm out of my in-laws house for a little bit!!!)

I just got home from working 12-8 today. It was supposed to be 2-8 but my boss wanted me to come in early today. I need all the money I can get to pay for the wedding. We have no help and have to pay for the entire thing ourselves.

Tonight we are just relaxing. Going to celebrate the engagement and have some wine. He made a cheesecake while I was working tonight and it looks yummy.
