I'm not real big on house plants. I have one that has amazingly survived the four cats who believe it's not a potted plant but a personal jungle. I used to have a potted tree that I really liked except Hemmy used it as his personal potty which wasn't that big of a deal to me because the tree seemed happiest when in his care. What I did mind was that he routinely flung piles of potting soil out onto the floor.
I got my new copy of Martha Stewart Living today and they were recommending readers to add mulch to their potted plants to retain water in the summer. That got me thinking, is there a mulch that repels cats? How great would it be to have something good for my plants that kept the cat's out of it! I'd actually get some more plants!
