Hi there, my name is Adele and I am the proud mommy of 7 cats, all rescues!
My husband and I have been rescuing kitties for about 15 years now and we are always willing to take "just one more". We catch the feral kitties that we come across, (and others tell us about or bring us) and get them fixed and patched up, then love them till they are tame. Our first rescue, Abraxus, a 5 or so year old black feral kitty was so wild that it took him 2 years or so to calm down. He passed away last year at the age of 19 (we think) but to the end he was my best friend. I miss him sooo much. BUT, our newest rescue, Eddie, is so much like him, I think our Abraxus has come back to us! (only grey instead of black this time. Who ever said cats have nine lives, I hope they are right. I think our Abraxus is on his second now as Eddie.
If i can figure out how, I will post some pictures of my kitties.
Thanks for welcoming me to your site and I know I will enjoy my stay here.
