My son loves The Doors - our second dog, JD is named for Jim (James Douglas) Morrison. Did you ever see the movie? What did you think?

The music was great, absolutely. That signature organ! And sometimes the words matched it... but oh boy, when they didn't! No time to wallow in the mire? Our love become a funeral pyre?

Morrison always sang with conviction, though... gotta give him credit.

Love the Doors. Morrison was a poet in his own, weird way. I listen to them when I need a 60's trip.

I named a cat after him once. His siblings were Hendrix and Janis. I lost all 3 to FeLV and will never do that again.
