Yesterday Sneakers was playing with his mouse toy on the floor when we heard him sneeze and start to cough, almost like he was preparing to upchuck a hairball. But instead, he acted like he was having a body spasm - his whole body, mostly his stomach, was quivering uncontrollably, while he just sat there and looked at us, wondering what was going on. The quivering stopped and he returned to normal.
His eyes did not roll back, he did not stiffen up or start flailing his legs. It honestly looked like terrible stomach spasms.
My mother-in-law is a vet tech and she said it could be a pre-seizure (basically like a very mini seizure) and to keep an eye on him .
Any ideas? It freaked us (and him!) out terribly.
