The Daily Thread May 8th, 2008

Good morning everyone!

A sunny day with a high of 60F today but a bit of wind.

While waiting for my morning cup of java to brew well my coffee makers is going to the RBtoday. I gave it a cleaning last night and must have gotten water in the electronics. Grrrrr..... Well at least I have a french press so I am not totally without my caffeine.

Last night finally started to weed in asparagus patch and the new shoots are up a couple of inches. Put together my temporary greenhouse too.

Have a couple jobs to work at today and an appointment so I better get to reading.

Sunny. Hot. Very sunny. Really hot for May...... sticky. Yik!!

Anyway..... moving along.... not a great start to the day, but I suppose it could have been worse. I mean, look at yesterday!! And tomorrow is an entirely new day too.... so it's not really a bad thing. I'm still job hunting. Man I need a new one something rotten.

Sunny and hot here today. Housework tonight, then getting my things to wear for a leaving dinner tomorrow evening straight from work, then if i have time i'll spend a couple of hours with the kids in the conservatory after i've watered the plants

Morning All!!!

Damp and dreary here this morning.

Off to a slow start this morning, I don't have to be to work until after lunch so was just puttering at my laundry this morning..I am finishing off a couple of interviews and reviewing some of the interviews I did last week, today
I think I have pretty much narrowed it down to 3 people who look promising.

Nothing special planned for tonight, do need to stop by the farmer's market to pick up some broccoli and strawberries they have on special..Am thinking of making beef with broccoli for dinner, it's one of my favorites..

Kitties are good this morning, all curled up in the clean clothes basket sleeping..

Cloudy and rainy here...but

I could NOT be happier! I just found out that I got a B in my Philosophy class and an A in my psychology class when I was expecting a C and a B, respectively! I was super-worried about my GPA...but now I'm not!

Sitting here watching Drew Carey on TPiR and being happy, lol. I've been a huge Drew fan ever since the days of The Drew Carey Show and Whose Line is it Anyway (which is one of my favorite shows EVER!)...I think he's doing great!

Anyway. I think I'm gonna go to the hospital this afternoon b/c my grandmother is there after surgery (but she's doing great

) and my mom is staying with there. It's supposed to storm, so my dad doesn't want me to be by myself in case it gets really bad even though I'd be okay.
