HELP!! Suckling kitten making sibling sore in a personal place.

I have two orphaned kittens who I have hand raised from birth. They are now nearly 5 weeks old (tomorrow) and Kipper, the runt, keeps suckling on poor Spike's penis. It now protrudes and looks sore, Spike keeps trying to walk away but Kipper follows him around and won't leave him alone. It doesn't seem to matter how often they are fed, I think he just needs something to suckle on. Any ideas? Please help, poor Spikey needs your advice!

Oh uh. I had an orphaned litter of 4 with 3 of them males. I had the same problem. If you were in the U.S. I'd suggest a Snuggle Kitty, but I doubt you can order one from Bogor.

When my boys did it, I had to continuously separate them and try to give them alternatives such as stuffed animals, blankets, formula bottles. The only way to break them of it is to give them an alternative. They are kittens and they will suckle.

Keep a close eye on Spikey and get him to the vet if he looks inflamed or red. I wish you luck!
